GETTING TO LAKE COMO

Once you arrive at one of the three airports, there are numerous ways to make your way to the lake. You may decide to travel using Rental Car or Taxi/Uber, or take a longer journey from the airport by Rail or Bus.

Road Trip
RENTAL CARS

Rental cars are available at each of the airports and are the easiest way to get to the lake as well as explore the surrounding area. Not all accommodations offer parking onsite or nearby, so bear this in mind when booking.

If using a car to explore the lake, public or metered parking is available in many of the larger towns.

Most Italians drive manual/stick cars, so make sure you specifically book an automatic if you require one.

Drivers without an EU driving license need to apply for an international driving permit in advance

Taxi Station
TAXI OR UBER

Taxis / Uber should be available on arrival and will take you directly to your accommodation. However, once in the Lake Como area, taxis are not as readily available, so pre-booking a service is required
